One of the most common misconceptions about Botox and other injectable wrinkle relaxers is that using these products will make the client appear frozen, plastic, or overly tight. In reality, the enhancements made with Botox injections can look exceptionally natural when performed by an experienced injector.
Furthermore, clients can choose how subtle or dramatic they like their results.

Botox is one of the most popular and frequently performed cosmetic treatments used in medical aesthetics. In fact, you probably know at least one person that regularly uses Botox, though you may not realize it. This is because the results of Botox, when performed properly, can be smooth, subtle, and natural looking; therefore still allowing facial expression.
How do neuromodulators such as Botox work? Neuromodulators work by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles; this reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those persistent lines to form. As the muscle weakens, the wrinkles in the skin gradually soften and often disappear, giving the face a more relaxed and refreshed appearance. It typically takes 3-5 days depending on the neuromodulators used to start to see results. It takes 2 weeks to see full effect with results lasting 3-4 months. Neuromodulators are contraindicated for those pregnant or breastfeeding.
